I'm looking for long term storage space for a SC Car Club car. I'm currently storing in a local 10 x 20 commercial storage unit. However, rent increases a significant amount every six months.  I need to find alternative storage. No room for a third car at home. Any members aware of reasonable storage space? What are other members doing with their extra car when they are not able to keep at their home?

Car Club Members:
The Hilton Head Concours is one of the premier concours events in the nation and I had the pleasure of volunteering on the show field at last weekend’s Hilton Head Concours. Many of our Car Club Members volunteered at the event in a variety of roles. I also saw many club members roaming the concours grounds viewing the beautiful cars at the show. The Saturday event is the Car Club Showcase. We had 12 members selected by the club and the concours to show their cars at the Saturday event. Four of our members were recognized with one or more awards:

• Rich Sova captured the “Designer’s Choice” award and also received a Cresent Award with his Jaguar XKE
  
• Dave Przekora received the award for “Best Overall Ford” with his ‘49 Shoebox Ford
  
• Patti Thomas was one of the 20 cars selected for the Chairman’s Parade with her Porsche 911 Targa.  
  • As a side note, as her car was recognized, the announcer noted that the Sun City Car Club was the Club of the Year in 2024
    
    
• Rick Emmons also received a Cresent Award for his ’69 Camaro Z28
